Advent Lectio Divina via Zoom

Advent Lectio Divina via Zoom

CaptioAdvent Lectio Divina via Zoomn goes here Advent Lectio Divina via Zoom FRANCISCAN FRIARY MERCHANTS’ QUAY Lectio Divina, literally meaning ‘divine reading’ is an ancient practice of praying the scriptures. During Lectio Divina, the participant listens to a particular text of the Bible “with the ear of the heart”, as St. Benedict says, entering into the depths of an intimate conversation with God. A virtual Lectio Divina reflection Group will take place via Zoom each Thursday morning during Advent, beginning at 11am on November26th for four weeks. Each week we will pray with the Gospel for the following Sunday; a way of opening ourselves up to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and listening to the voice of the Lord speak directly to each one of us. You only need to bring yourselves; we will make the Gospel reading available to you beforehand. The lectio sessions will be lead by Brid Caffrey. To register for Lectio please email us at adamandeve@franciscans.ie and each week we will send you a link to join the group.                                                                                                                                                                              ...
